STAESA Immersive Human Right’s Internship program is well structured program facilitated by our local coordinators in conjunction with local Human Rights policy and advocate organizations headed by qualified lawyers. Human rights are basic rights that belong to all of us simply because we are human. They embody key values in our society such as fairness, dignity, equality and respect. They are an important means of protection for us all, especially those who may face abuse, neglect and isolation. It is, in a sense, to treat them as if they are less than human and undeserving of respect and dignity. Examples are acts typically deemed "crimes against humanity," including genocide, torture, slavery, rape, enforced sterilization or medical experimentation, and deliberate starvation.

Our program includes participation in active mentorship, full discussions on cases, reflection on cases, and relevant hands-on practical experience. Our program delivers very intensive Human Rights program. Our program helps you to develop practical skills while acquiring a deep understanding of the human impact of right’s violations and challenges in Africa.

Human rights are rights we have simply because we exist as human beings - they are not granted by any state. These universal rights are inherent to us all, regardless of nationality, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, language, or any other status.

Whatever their age, all children have human rights, just as adults do. This includes the right to speak out and express opinions, as well as rights to equality, health, education, a clean environment, a safe place to live and protection from all kinds of harm.
