CHILDREN PROGRAM IN SOUTH AFRICA modified.jpg

Teach In Africa

At STAESA volunteers and interns are great resources for both students and teachers in the classroom. You will always feel you’re helping and very useful. After your program you will always desire to come back to help. Like our past volunteers. We have them back almost every summer.  You will become regular helper in the schools anytime you are in Africa.

Inadequate of teachers.

Our interns and volunteers are placed in these schools where teachers are inadequate to help the kids and to solved the inadequacy of teachers problem. There is always work for our volunteers in these schools. Teachers are needed all year round hence your presence in these schools is very welcome to help the children. This is a very busy program where you will be very busy and feel very useful.  Come and join us and change lives.

Too much work for the teachers

In some cases we place volunteers where there are already teachers but the workload in these schools is overwhelming hence the presence of our volunteers is welcome and highly appreciated. Teachers are overwhelmed with so much work at the schools. Too much to handle which always resulted in uncompleted teaching of particular subjects leaving the children uncompleted curriculum before the school goes on holidays. This is what our volunteers do. They take the excess work over, help in teaching the kids, and complete the teaching  of the  subjects before the school goes on holidays. This is the reason why you have to join our teaching program. you really feel happy helping the children achieving a lot academically while having fun with them..

Orientation

With the help of the mentor assigned to volunteers, our volunteers receive detailed orientation regarding the method of teaching.  The schools also provides subjects curriculum to make the teaching very easy and simple for our volunteers. Everyone can join this program. There is something for you to do in the schools. You don’t have to be a professional teacher. The population of a particular class is between 30 to 35.

You can also help in the following areas: Providing extra support and guidance in a self-contained special needs classrooms, providing special one on one support and guidance to autistic students with extra special needs.

We receives volunteers of different background to fill the positions in the schools.

You can combine your program with any other program(s )of your choice upon arrival and it is free. The additional program(s) is free. Join us to touch lives.
